Admissions

Local Authorities will refer a child to the academy if they have already deemed ‘Special School’ the appropriate provision.

As part of this process, and if appropriate, we may contact parents/carers and current school settings for further information, we may also visit the child in their current placement.  If all parties are in agreement, we will admit the young person at the beginning of either Autumn 1, Spring 1 or Summer 1.

Chiltern Way Academy Trust is its own Admitting Authority and both Phase Transfer and in Year Transfer placement consultations should be sent directly to the school via your Local Education Authority.  For further information or admissions enquiries, please contact our team on the following email:

We work very hard at building strong relationships with home. This is one of the primary drivers to our students’ future success.

Our young people succeed when we work together.
