Turning Futures Around

Primary Phase Home Learning:

home1We know that for our students, homework can be a trigger for dysregulation at home. Because of this, we don’t set any formal homework unless students request it. However, we do ask that you and your child read together at home at least twice a week. If you need any extra support with this, please speak to your child’s class teacher. If you would like your child to do any learning at home, we have some websites and games that students can play to practice some key skills.

Times Tables Rock Stars (ttrockstars.com) – a fun way to practice times tables. Ask your teacher if you don’t know your login. https://play.ttrockstars.com/auth

Spelling Shed is spelling game for school and home – students can  practice their weekly spellings through a range of games, ask your teacher for a login. https://www.spellingshed.com/en-gb/

PhonicsPlay check with your child’s teacher to find out what phonics phase your child is working within, and then play some fun games to practice their sounds. https://www.phonicsplay.co.uk/

Covid-19 Home Learning:

If any bubbles or classes need to close due to a case of Covid-19, lessons would move online and be delivered via Google Classroom. All students have been taught how to use Google Classroom in school, and all logins will be sent home. Students will take their Chromebooks home to use, however you can access Google Classroom via any internet device, including a phone, tablet and XBox.

If you need any support during this time, please contact your child’s class teacher via ClassDojo, or email Mr Regan or Ms Martin.
