8CC:

Welcome to 8CC! We are taught by our form tutor, Miss Corazza who taught most of us last year in year 7, alongside a multitude of teachers at Wendover for English, Bushcraft, Science, PE and Construction.

Every Wednesday we have Outdoor Learning with Mr. Meddeman and the other year 8 class, where we go to Caldecotte and do activities on the lake, like sailing, rock climbing, and high ropes.

Every morning we come into school, we have a change to regulate doing an activity of our choice before we come into M3 and have breakfast with Miss Corazza and watch Oddly Satisfying videos to get us into the right zone to learn for the day.

We have a wide range of interests in 8CC, including bikes, video games, basketball and football. It’s nice because most lunch breaks, we all play together on the 4G MUGA alongside the rest of the students in Transition.

The COVID-19 virus has definitely caused this year to be a bit different than last year, in that there are new rules and protocols that we need to follow. We have shown that we are very resilient and practicing our flexibility every day.

Miss Corazza is excited to be teaching us Life Skills, PSHCE, Hospitality and Hospitality Theory every week and we are excited to learn new things. It has been such a challenging term, but we are proud of how far we’ve come. Looking forward to what 2021 holds for us!
