Chiltern Way Academy is so much more than a school.  It is an innovative and transformational Specialist Academy Trust for students aged 4 – 19. We provide high-quality education, care, therapies and advocacy for the huge range of need that exists across the behaviour spectrum.

Our Prestwood campus works with students on the autistic spectrum and our Wendover campus works with students with a range of social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. In September 2019, we open our brand new primary provision in Aylesbury, to provide the much-needed early intervention.

We are looking for a dynamic and inspirational Occupational Therapist for our rapidly expanding trust.

You will work closely with all staff, parents and students to maximise the learning potential of our students, shape the supports provided to our students and be involved in the development of the school as a whole.

You will join a talented, loyal and hardworking team dedicated to improving outcomes for our children.

We Offer

  • Opportunities for CPD and clinical supervision
  • Clearly defined and manageable caseloads
  • Opportunity to work with Senior Leadership Team and influence change
  • Freedom to explore and implement new impactful initiatives
  • A hugely determined, purposeful and supportive team
  • Innovative and rapidly growing organisation
  • Being part of an organisation that influences policy on a national and international scale

  We Want

  • Therapists who are advocates for our young people
  • Courageous innovators
  • Therapists who are passionate about breaking the cycle of social deprivation and turning around young lives
  • Dynamic, reflective, progressive practitioners
  • Therapists with experience of planning and delivering specialist, targeted and universal interventions

Visits to the school are encouraged.
