The role is based at our secondary and Post-16 campus in Wendover. Our site stands in twenty-two acres of attractive parkland on the edge of the village. The land is listed as a Historic Boundary Area that is referenced back to the Bronze Age. It has an outstanding Bushcraft area and outdoor classroom. This was built and developed by students and includes forest shelters, fire pits, a woodland trail and a tree house. The area itself is set amongst 22 acres of the school’s field and wooded area.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Possesses solid Bushcraft or Forest School skills

  • Is enthusiastic about creating modern and playful experiences.
  • Can plan and prepare activity sessions, focusing on participation, development, safety and environment.
  • Ensures all policies and procedures are adhered to by all staff and students, including health and safety and safeguarding procedures.

We offer:

  • Increased professional development and career opportunities
  • An opportunity to be involved in the development and progression of the school and wider community
