Safeguarding: information for Parents and Carers

Safeguarding is the action that’s taken to promote the welfare of children and protect them from harm. Safeguarding is about keeping our children and young people safe from a range of potential harm

It is ways of preventing harm from happening in the first instance and acting to stop it. It’s about acting to stop harm occurring and preventing it from happening again.

The Chiltern Way Academy, is dedicated at implementing a PREVENT strategy.

Prevent is about supporting our students and help to stop them becoming involved in any form of extremist and/or terrorist activities.

Please visit www.preventtragedies.co.uk for more information on PREVENT .
