Children at Wendover's Chiltern Way Academy welcomed the team from the local Amazon fulfilment centre in Hemel Hempstead to celebrate a new funding partnership for their Magic Breakfast club.

 

The First World Special-Needs Judo Championships.

 

Mr Rush our IT and PE teacher is proud to be involved in the British Judo Association and has been selected as a, ‘GB coach’ to attend the World Judo event in October in Germany.

 

Teacher recruitment is particularly difficult in the UK, as a result we went to Canada. Canada is a particularly good hunting ground given their world class education system.

Burnet News Club

Burnet News Club is run by the Economist Educational foundation, a charitable foundation set up by Sir Alistair Burnet to provide high quality educational resources to inspire disadvantaged children to learn about the news and current affairs.

Chiltern Way Academy has achieved 0% NEET for 2016/17. This means that all the post 16 cohort were in paid employment after leaving the Academy.

Chiltern Way Academy Trust was honoured, once again, to be asked by the British Council to present at the Global Inclusive Education Conference in Dubai

Culture, cuisine and history formed the core of a wonderful trip to Barcelona (Spain) for Wendover Campus’ pupils in 2016. 5 students, Mr. Regan and Miss Rouco went to Barcelona in April and had an amazing time - flying for the first time – real life experiences – practicing the Spanish language – being independent.
